Grande et très belle paire de vases en biscuit* d’époque Art Nouveau. Ces vases à décor floral et à figures féminines sont estampillés du sceau Royal Dux (losange rose). Cette manufacture fondée en 1853 à Dux près de Prague fut installée quelques années plus tard à Berlin. Cette nouvelle domiciliation marqua le début de sa renommée et de sa prospérité. Les œuvres réalisées étaient très prisées du fait de leur qualité remarquable, de leur grande finesse.
*Le biscuit est une faïence, une porcelaine ou un gré sans émaillage, sans glaçure.
