Chaises Amsterdam dites « Tonneau » de Pierre Guariche

Superbes chaises Amsterdam dites « Tonneau » d’un des plus grands designers, décorateurs et architecte du XXe : Pierre Guariche. Le joli tissu en velours jaune est d’origine et en état exceptionnel compte tenu de son âge. Editées par Steiner, c’est un modèle iconique du XXe.

Pierre Guariche (1926-1995) a marqué son époque avec des pièces fonctionnelles au look épuré. Créateur de meubles, de luminaires et d’objets de décoration pour Airborne et Steiner, il s’associe dans les années 50 à Motte et Mortier et fonde avec eux l’Atelier de Recherches Plastiques. L’ARP se consacre à la création de meuble, de salons et de chambres pour Charles Minvielle.  Créateur de la chaise Tonneau en contreplaqué plié, du lampadaire double balancier il sera également l’architecte des stations de ski Courchevel, Val d’Isère et la Plagne.
